Voluntary Group ProductsThe evolution of group insurance has led to the design and development of Voluntary Group and Special Risk insurance products. Voluntary Group Products are similar to True Group (Employer Paid) Insurance Products, except that they are paid for by the employee. These products include Long and Short Term Disability Income, and Term Life Insurance. Special Risk Insurance Products include Catastrophic Illness, Accident, and Specified Disease products. These products are also selected and paid for by the employee. Voluntary Group and Special Risk Products fill individual employee benefit needs at no direct cost to the employer. BDC has the experience and expertise to recommend plan designs and deliver these products and services to our clients.
